Racial Injustice Unveiled

Countless unarmed Black men, women and children have been murdered by police for centuries. Most of these victims did not receive justice; many were instead blamed or the incidence swept under the massive rug of systemic racism. However, a collective awakening as to these racial injustices occurred on May 25, 2020 when the entire nation literally watched live as an unarmed George Floyd’s life was brutally taken, handcuffed, pleading for his life, and pinned down to the ground by a police officer’s knee. George Floyd’s murder led to a racial reckoning that included protests in cities large and small across the nation.

The words "It's not a debate. Black Lives Matter." are shown above an image of a group of people holding signs and fists raised in the air, marching down a city street.
