Family Voices is seeking nominations for the Family Voices Board of Directors election. There are openings for 3 or 4 new Directors. We particularly seek candidates who bring perspectives of diverse communities, family leaders, and/or legal, financial or fundraising experience. As a Director, you will help shape the policies and positions of Family Voices, represent families of children with special health care needs and disabilities from across the country, help to ensure the financial stability and future directions of the organization, coordinate with staff towards the implementation of Family Voices’ strategic initiatives, and gain leadership experience in a national association.

The board term is three years long and would begin January 1, 2020.  As a Director, you will advance the continued good work of this over 25-year old organization which provides critical assistance, directly and indirectly, for thousands of families and children each year.

To nominate yourself or another Family Voices member or friend, please complete the application and send to Jim Perrin, chair of the Nominating Committee at: jperrin@mgh.harvard.edu. Applications are due by November 15, 2019.
