To help Medicaid agencies prepare for public health crises and natural disasters, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Coverage Learning Collaborative developed a set of tools on the strategies available to support Medicaid operations and enrollees in times of crisis. The set of resources, released on August 20, includes a memorandum and an inventory, which together provide a detailed list of all available strategies, some of which are available without needing approval from CMS. These resources are available here on Medicaid.gov.
