FELSC Learning Collaborative Cohort 1 Wisconsin

Goals and Accomplishments

The Wisconsin team worked on building trust and relationships with individuals from Native communities to create an environment to support broader engagement in the WI Family Leadership Institute and other leadership opportunities.

The Family to Family Health Information Center in Florida is Family Voices of Wisconsin.

The team hopes to:

Continue to build upon, strengthen, and expand relationship building across communities.

Advice for future cohorts:

  • Relationship building is the key component for all of the work. In order to create healthy relationships among the team and community members, trust needs to be the core focus.

  • Trust is built by showing up when you say you will consistently for the long term.
