F2F funding has been included in the proposed continuing resolution through September 2025.

Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) and Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (R- TX) introduced legislation in House on February 18. Similar to the bill passed out of the House Energy & Commerce committee at the end of 2024, the bill would fund the F2F program at $9 million for 4 years, through Fiscal Year 2029. There is no Senate bill yet, but a Senate bill is not required to fund the F2F program further. However, we have begun working with champions in the Senate to introduce legislation, including Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH).

Family Voices’ goal is still $12 million in funding for the F2Fs, but this is a great step forward. Look out for more updates from the Family Voices team.
