Headshot of Allysa. After three and a half years as Executive Director of Family Voices, I’ve decided to step down, effective October 31, 2026, to pursue a new professional opportunity.

Serving in this role has been one of the great privileges of my career. I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and I’m confident in the strength of this organization and the people who carry its mission forward.

I want our community to know that this transition has been carefully planned. Nikki Montgomery, Family Voices’ Director of Strategy and Communications, will serve as Interim Executive Director beginning November 1, 2026, ensuring continuity in our programs and operations. I will remain involved as a Senior Advisor, supporting the Board through its search for our next Executive Director and helping that person get settled once they’re selected.

The Board of Directors will begin a national search for Family Voices’ next Executive Director immediately. Additional details about the search process, including how to submit inquiries or nominations, will be shared in the coming weeks.

I’m grateful for the years I’ve had here and excited for what lies ahead as Family Voices continues its mission.

Questions about the transition or the search process can be directed to executivetransition@familyvoices.org.
