September 2025 F2F Reauthorization Status – Possible Continuing Resolution

F2Fs are funded through the continuing resolution (CR) through September 2025. If CR is passed in September 2025, F2F funding is expected to be included.

Family Voices continues to work with Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) and Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (R- TX) to advance the F2F bill in the House Energy & Commerce Committee – HR 1435. Similar to the bill passed out of the House Energy & Commerce committee at the end of 2024, the bill would fund the F2F program at $9 million for 4 years, through Fiscal Year 2029. Family Voices is currently working to build up co-sponsorship for the House bill. As of September 2025, there are 7 sponsors/co-sponsors on the bill.

There is no Senate bill yet, but a Senate bill is not required to fund the F2F program further. However, we continue to work with champions in the Senate to introduce legislation, including Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH).

Family Voices’ goal is still $12 million in funding for the F2Fs. Look out for more updates from the Family Voices team.
