May 2025 F2F Reauthorization Status – No Update

F2Fs are funded through the continuing resolution through September 2025.

Family Voices continues to work with Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) and Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (R- TX) to advance the F2F bill in the House Energy & Commerce Committee – HR 1435. Similar to the bill passed out of the House Energy & Commerce committee at the end of 2024, the bill would fund the F2F program at $9 million for 4 years, through Fiscal Year 2029. Family Voices is currently working to build up co-sponsorship for the House bill.

There is no Senate bill yet, but a Senate bill is not required to fund the F2F program further. However, we continue to work with champions in the Senate to introduce legislation, including Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH).

Family Voices’ goal is still $12 million in funding for the F2Fs. Look out for more updates from the Family Voices team.
