Grants and Contracts Manager

mav (they/them) is an educator, advocate, activist, community member, and now, a part of the Finance Team at Family Voices. As a lifelong advocate and activist, mav has challenged inequality and injustice at multiple levels while trying to find liberation in joy, play, and learning. mav has two BAs, and three master’s degrees ranging from Art History to Sociology to Women & Gender Studies. They come to Family Voices bringing experience in research, information technology, diversity and inclusion training, education, grant writing, and community work, to act as the Grants & Contracts Manager.

mav is a queer disabled neurodivergent professional with goals for equity, love, and liberation for everyone. When they’re not working they are a parent to a lovely child, an artist, an intentional family member, and a best friend who spends too much time at Michael’s Craft store.
