Family Voices’ Organizational Family and Youth Advisory Committee plays a key role in shaping our work and ensuring that our strategic goals reflect and honor the communities we serve.

Committee members:
  • Share their perspectives and priorities on Family Voices’ mission.
  • Strengthen our organization’s ability to define and address systemic barriers and biases impacting the quality of life and well-being for CYSHCN and their families.
  • Provide strategic guidance and input on evaluating the impact of our work.
  • Connect with other individuals with lived experience.
Each of our advisory committee members:
  • Is a parent, caregiver, or family member of a child/young adult who has a disability and/or identifies as a youth, young adult, or lived experience partner with a disability.
  • Is familiar with Family Voices’ work at the national level and/or work with your local Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F) or Family Voices Affiliate Organization (FVAO).
  • Has a strong interest in Family Voices’ mission and goals.
