Joni Bruce is Executive Director of The Oklahoma Family Network, Oklahoma’s Family-to-Family Health Information Center for individuals with special health care needs or disabilities, their families and the professionals that serve them. She is the current Chair of the Coalition of Advocates for Behavioral Health and the past Co-Chair of the Systems of Care State Advisory Team.  Joni received her B.S. from Oklahoma State University in 1983 with a major in Marketing. She is a 2007 graduate of Partners in Policymaking and the Oklahoma Family Delegate for Association of Maternal Child Health. Joni was named 2012 Jeff Tallent Advocate of the Year and 2013 NASW Oklahoma Chapter Public Citizen of the Year.    She is the mother of one child who died due to a genetic condition after a two month stay in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and two other young adult children with behavioral health, chronic health issues and learning disabilities.
