Beth Dworetzky

Associate Director of Programs
As a project manager at Family Voices, Beth works across several projects that focus on building the capacity of systems of care to better serve children and youth with special health care needs and promoting meaningful family engagement at all levels of the systems that serve all children. Having spent the majority of her son’s first year of life in the hospital with him, Beth became acutely aware of the changes needed to ensure hospitals, providers, insurers, and service systems understand the difficulties families encounter when trying to advocate for their children and navigate complex systems of care. Fueled by her family’s experiences, she is passionate about helping other families find their voices and effectively advocate for needed services and supports. Beth began by co-directing an Early Intervention Parent Leadership Project within the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, went on to establish the Massachusetts Family-to-Family Health Information Center, and then worked at a national center for improving health insurance and financing of care for children and youth with special health care needs. Joining Family Voices in January 2018, Beth is happy to return to her family leadership roots, although those roots are now gray.
